Visit by the CSF NSE to our pilot pyrogasification site

Our Le Barp site hosted a visit as part of the Biogas Working Group of Nouveaux Systèmes Énergétiques (Strategic Sector Committee).

Around the table: the DGEC (Directorate General for Energy and Climate), the Directorate General for Enterprise, Ineris (National Institute for the Industrial Environment and Risks), ADEME, the Syndicat des énergies renouvelables (SER), and ATEE.

An opportunity to present our staged pyrogasification technology, under real operating conditions since 2025: conversion of biomass into syngas, then into grid-injectable biomethane as part of a call for projects with GRDF.

Discussions also focused on the conditions for scale-up: the regulatory framework, permitting procedures, and support mechanisms. These major challenges will make it possible to integrate different types of inputs into the sector, such as wood waste and solid recovered fuels (SRF).

The quality of these discussions is a valuable asset for structuring the industrial development of the pyrogasification sector.
